Isolex

Insulators
POST, BUSHING, CUSTOMIZED

Electrical isolators are devices that allow an electrical conductor to be electrically separated from other conductive materials. A common case is the use to mechanically support suspended conductors (bare cable, ie without insulation) on the support structure (eg a pole or a lattice), avoiding current leakage on the structure itself.

They can be made with a high dielectric strength material (that is, they resist a strong voltage difference without producing electric perforation). Forms and dimensions are variable. The materials for the construction of the electrical isolators of the Isolex are ceramic, mica-glass, polyester, epoxy resin. There are several criteria for the classification of insulators: insulators for indoor or outdoor, through or bearing, for low, medium, high voltage. There are different criteria for the classification of insulators: insulators for indoor or outdoor use, feed-through or load-bearing, for low, medium or high voltage.
